Zhou Anning, doctor, is the second-grade professor and PhDSupervisor, academic leader of Mineral Processing Engineering and famousteacher of Xi’an University of Science and Technology; he is also theOutstanding Innovation Talent on Coal Industry Technology, Outstanding Teacherin Shaanxi Province and Excellent Returned Overseas Student. His concurrent academic posts include Deputy Director ofKey Laboratory of Coal Resources Survey and Integrated Utilization of Ministryof Land and Resources, member of Coal Industry Committee of Technology, ChinaNational Coal Association, standing director of Specialized Committee of CoalChemical Industry, The Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of Shaanxi,Deputy Director of Xi’an Society of Nanotechnology, etc. His mainresearch fields include: coal processing by different quality andpoly-generation conversion, conversion and utilization of coal-based materialsand carbon dioxide. LiKanshe (1961-), doctor of engineering, third-level professor, PhD Supervisor. He is the director of Macromolecule Research Institute,leaders of Provincial Engineering Chemistry Teaching Team, member of the 11thNPC Standing Committee of Shaanxi CPPCC and deputy director of Subcommittee ofEducation and Culture of provincial CPPCC. Qu Mengnan
QuMengnan, male, born in 1981, is the professor and PhD Supervisor. He graduatedfrom Lanzhou University with a doctor degree in organic chemistry andUniversity of Pittsburgh as a postdoctor. He currently serves asspecially-appointed professor of “Huyang Scholars” by Xi’an University ofScience and Technology and he has obtained the title of “New Star of YoungScientists”. He is also the member of Youth Committee of Chinese MechanicalEngineering Society General Surface Engineering Branch, director of FrictionBranch of Shaanxi Mechanical Engineering Society, editorial board member ofAsia-Pacific Journal of Materials Science, comment expert of NSFC programs andreviewer of several international famous academic periodicals such as NatureProtocols, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Journal of MaterialsChemistry A. He also enjoys the subsidy of “Sanqin talents” of ShaanxiProvince.
Hispresent research direction is:
Research on the preparation of bionic function interfacematerials and its application. He has been in charge of 2 NSFC general program and morethan 10 provincial scientific research projects. One of his recentachievements has been reported and commented by Nature to research thehighlights. So far, he has published more than 50 relevant academic papers inAdvanced Functional Materials, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Langmuirand other periodicals and more than 30 have been included by SCI. As the first person-in-charge, he has won third prize ofShaanxi Science and Technology Award, second prize of Science and TechnologyAward of Colleges and Universities in Shaanxi and several first prizes ofScience and Technology Award of Xi’an University of Science and Technology.

He is the key memberof Advanced Electrical Materials Research Center and Shaanxi “One-hundredTalents Plan” team, member of Dielectric High Polymer Materials and ApplicationCommittee of Chinese Society for Multiple Materials, member of MineralComposite Committee and the editorial board member of international periodicalInter.J.Mater.Sci. and Inter.J.Eng.Sci.as well as domestic periodical PackagingEngineering.
His present research fields aremainly:

Sofar, he has published more than 100 professional academic papers and more than50 have been retrieved by SCI, 70 included by EI. His relevant research hasbeen positively quoted for more than 1300 times by SCI, including 5 papers withmore than quote rates by SCI and 1 highly cited paper. He has published thefirst monograph in polymer heat conduction field domestically:Heat-conductingpolymer material (National Defense Industry Press). He has won 10 patents forinvention, first prize of Natural Science andTechnology Award of colleges and universities in Shaanxi and special award inScientific Achievement Transformation and Industrialization of Xi’an City.
In recent years, he has chaired NSFC programs, key science and technologyprojects by Ministry of Education, Special Natural Science Project of NaturalScience fund and Department of Education of Shaanxi Province, open fund of keylaboratory of engineering dielectric medium and application by Ministry ofEducation; he has obtained the 42th batch and first batch special subsidy ofPostdoctoral Science Foundation and has successively participated in more than10 pre-research projects such as aerospace, aviation, military, nationaldefense weapon as well as several topic research of inter-enterprise transversecooperative development.
