Wang Xiaogang, professor, PhD Supervisor, was born in February  1959 and graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University with a doctor's degree in  1999. He is now the director of Shaanxi Silicon Magnesium Industrial Energy  Saving and Poly-generation Engineering Center, academic leader in materials  science, expert with prominent contribution in Shaanxi Province,model worker  of Shaanxi Province, Executive Vice Chairman & Secretary-general of  Shaanxi Coal Conversion Research Association, Director of Shaanxi Silicate  Association, member of Shaanxi Association of Senior Experts, senior  consultant of relevant enterprises in Shaanxi, Ningxia, Fujian, Qinghai,  Xinjiang and other provinces (districts).

Professor Wang Xiaogang is mainly engaged in the research on  material preparation theory and application. He has been in charge of 6  national projects including NSFC (National Natural Science Foundation of  China) programs, national key technological innovation projects, more than 20  provincial key science and technology projects and key industrial test  projects as well as more than 20 project cooperated with enterprises.

His major achievements include:

(1)"The  SiC new technique in multi-core furnace production" won the first prize  of Science and Technology Progress Award in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region  in 2001;

(2) "The exploration and practice in the  transformation and broadening of geological specialty and construction of  material specialty" won the second prize of Shaanxi Provincial Excellent  Teaching Achievements Award in 2001;

(3)  "The SiC new technique in dual power multi-heat-source furnace  production" won the third prize of Qinghai Provincial Science and  Technology Progress Award in 2002;

(4) "The research on the prediction and prevention of  gas disaster in Hancheng Mine Area" won the third prize of Shaanxi  Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2002;
 (5) The SiC new technique in multi-core furnace production passed the  provincial appraisal in 2000 and was internationally advanced;
 (6) The SiC new technique in dual power multi-heat-source furnace production  passed the provincial appraisal in 2002 and was internationally advanced;

(7) The mine gas heat insulation and purification  technique passed the provincial appraisal in 2001 and was internationally  advanced;

(8)  The electron-heating porous SiC ceramics preparation technique passed the  provincial appraisal in 2005 and was internationally advanced;

(9)  Multi-heat-source SiC manufacturing furnace CO gas collection technique  passed the provincial appraisal in 2005 and was internationally advanced;

(10) He had applied and obtained 7 national patents for  invention.

(12) He has won altogether 8 provincial science and  technology progress awards and first prize, second prize and third prize of  outstanding teaching achievements awards.

Ø  “The  construction and practice of material specialty experiment teaching system  based on the cultivation of practical innovative talents” won the first prize  of Shaanxi Teaching Achievements Award in 2013. 

Ø  "The  SiC new technique in multi-core furnace production" won the first prize  of scientific and technological progress in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region  in 2001; 

Ø  "The  research on the prediction and prevention of gas disaster in Hancheng Mine  Area" won the third prize of Shaanxi Provincial Scientific and Technological  Progress in 2002;

Basic    information

Du Huiling,    professor, female, postdoctor, PhD Supervisor, graduated from Xi’an    Jiaotong University in 2002 with the doctor's degree of engineering in    Electronics Science and Technology. In 2010, she paid a one-year visit to    UC-Davis for study. She is the standing director of China Society of    Instrument Function Materials and member of Committee of Experts, China    Energy Society. She is also the leader of key scientific and technological    innovation team of provincial “New Energy Material Creation Theory and Technology”,    who has been selected in “New Century Outstanding Talents Support Plan” by    Ministry of Education in 2011. She also once obtained the honorary title of    “Youth Pace-setter” of Shaanxi Province, “Women’s Pace-setter” of Shaanxi    Educational Labor Union as well as “Teaching Master Award” of Xi’an    University of Science and Technology.

Professor Du    Huiling has been engaging in the application of information function    materials and device, research and development of test equipment. She has    been in charge of 3 NSFC programs, 1 “New Century Talent Supporting    Project” by Ministry of Education, key international cooperation projects    in Shaanxi Province, Shaanxi Program for Tackling Key Problems, Xi’an    Applied Materials Innovation Fund and other topics and has obtained many    scientific achievements, including 1 third prize of Shaanxi Science and    Technology Award, 1 third prize of Xi’an Science and Technology Award, 2    Science and Technology Awards of Institution of Higher Learning in Shaanxi,    1 first prize of Natural Science Award by Ministry of Education, 1 second    prize of Science and Technology Progress Award in Shaanxi Province. What’s    more, she has granted 10 national patents.

In recent    years, she has published more than 100 papers in domestic and foreign academic    journals, of which nearly 50 are published in foreign academic journals and    more than 30 in International Conference Papers. More than 100 of her    papers have been retrieved by SCI, EI and her papers have been positively    quoted by others for over 280 times. She now is the supervisor of 15    doctoral and postgraduate students.

Yang Jianye,  doctor, PhD Supervisor, was borrn in December 1958. He is now working in the  Macromolecule Teaching and Research Office,Department of Materials Science  and Engineering, Xi’an University of Science and Technology, engaging in the  teaching and scientific research of polymer matrix composite sna coal  chemistry (includingcoal geochemistry), organic petrology. He has published 2  monographs. As the first author, he has published nearly 40 papers in  well-known periodicals both at home and abroad, such as Science in China  (English Edition), geoscience (English Edition),Acta Sedimentologica  Sinica,  Journal of Coal Society,  Acta Geologica Sinica (English  Edition), Journal of Fuel Chemistry and Technology, Journal of Northwest  University, Journal of Chang’an University, Journal of China University of  Mining & Technology, Coal Geology& Exploration, Journal of Xi’an  University of Science and Technology, Coal Geology of China and Fuel foreign journal). Of which, 15 have  been included by SCI, EI. He has been in charge of 2 NSFC programs, 6  provincial fund programs (including national key laboratory fund program), 2  horizontal projects and attended 2 NSFC projects, 1 coal science fund program  and 1 research on national “Ninth five-year plan” second-level special large  and medium-sized natural gas field organic phase (the number is  96-110-01-02-04; the applicant is the first participant). The latter has been  identified by CNPC Technology Development Department entrusted by Ministry of  Science and Technology (the director of Appraisal Committee is Shi Baoheng,  the Deputy Director is Academician Sun Shu and Tian Zaiyi) as “reaching the  international advanced level on the whole and international leading level for  part research”. He has made great achievements on the research of  microelement distribution and occurrence state of coal in the coal chemistry.  He has discovered the coal (geo) chemical effect of lanthanide in the coal  and the periodical change rule of geochemical behavior statistical  distribution of microelement in the coal for the first time. This effect is  of great theoretical value to recognize the microelement’s macromolecular  structure in the coal and the distribution law of minerals from the   microscopic particle structure level. What’s more, it has significant  reference value to other fields such as astrochemistry, biomedicine elemental  chemistry and other disciplines. He is the academic leader of Physical  Chemistry of Materials, head of second-level innovation team of Xi’an  University of Science and Technology, review expert of NSFC programs and  reviewer of Journal of Fuel Chemistry and Technology. In 2012, 2013, he was  separately rewarded the third prize of Xi’an Science and Technology Award and  third prize of Excellent Academic Papers on Natural Science in Shaanxi  Province.
