Jiang Lin: born in November 1970 in Yanglin, Shaanxi Province, asecond-grade professor and PhD Supervisor, now is the expert with the SpecialGovernment Allowances of the State Council, Young and Middle-aged LeadingPersonnel in Scientific and Technological Innovation in Shaanxi Province and "RenownedTeacher" in Shaanxi Province. In 1992, he graduated from the Department ofMechanical Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University with a bachelor's degree.In December 1996, he was assigned to the Xi'an Institute of Posts andTelecommunications for teaching and scientific research after obtaining hisdoctor degree in Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University. From April 1998 toNovember 2000, he was engaged in postdoctoral researches at the Center forAeronautical Microelectronics, Northwestern Polytechnical University. From June2001 to July 2003, he was engaged in postdoctoral researches in the NationalKey Laboratory of Application Specific IC and Systems, Fudan University. FromFebruary 2008 to August 2008, as a public visiting scholar, he was engaged inadvanced studies in the Department of Electronic Engineering, University ofCalifornia, Riverside, USA. He served as the Deputy Director of Department ofComputer of Xi'an Institute of Posts and Telecommunications in July 1999, Deanof School of Electronic Engineering in November 2009, Director of GraduateDivision and Dean of Graduate School in July 2011, Vice President of Xi'anInstitute of Posts and Telecommunication and Vice Chairman of School AcademicCommittee in December 2014. He currently serves as the President of Xi'anUniversity of Science and Technology as well as Vice Chairman of SchoolAcademic Committee, while concurrently serving as the Member of SteeringCommittee for Teaching of Electronic Information Specialty of the Ministry ofEducation, Director of Education Innovation School-Enterprise CooperationResearch Branch of China Association of Higher Education as well as Member ofCircuit and System Branch of Chinese Institute of Electronics.
He has long been committed to the research on ASIC design(Application - Specific Integrated Circuit) and computer architecture. He haschaired 2 projects of National High-Tech Research and Development Program ofChina ( "863" Program ), 1 key project supported by National NaturalScience Foundation of China and 2 projects of General Program, participated in4 national-level projects, such as key projects supported by National NaturalScience Foundation of China, assumed more than 10 provincial-level projects,obtained more than 10 national invention patents and 2 integrated circuitlayout protection patents, and published more than 70 academic papers, and won1 first prize for Teaching Achievements in Higher Education in Shaanxi as thefirst completion person, 1 second prize and 2 third prizes for Scientific andTechnological Progress in Shaanxi as well as1 third prize for Progress inScience and Technology of China Institute of Communications, but also has beenselected into the Project Supported by the Program for New Century ExcellentTalents in University of Ministry of Education of China to become one of thefirst batch of Key Scientific and Technological Innovation Team Leaders inShaanxi and one of the National Candidates for "New Century TalentsProject".

LiuShulin, PhD Supervisor
Liu Shulin, male, doctor, professor, PhD Supervisor, was born inChengdu. He currently serves as Dean of College of Electric andControl Engineering, Xi’an University of Science and Technology, leader of“Power Electronic Circuit and System” scientific and technological innovationteam and academic leader of Mine Electromechanical Engineering doctoralprogram. He has successively studied and engaged in study and teaching inSichuan University, National Institute of Aerospace 771, Xi’an Instituteof Power Electronics, Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporationand Xi’an University of Science and Technology.
He is now the certified engineering education expert inElectronic Information and Electric Engineering, review expert of State Scienceand Technology Awards, review expert of Shaanxi/Guangdong/Shandong ProvincialScience and technology Award, Director of Chinese Committee of Robots Motionand Working Shaanxi Committee of Experts, member of Chinese Committee ofExperts in Explosion Proof Electricity, member of Chinese Committee of Expertsin Power Quality, director of China Power Supply Society, standing director ofShaanxi Power Supply Society and standing director of Shanxi Society ofInstruments and Apparatus. The “Power Electronic Circuit and System Scientific andTechnological Innovation Team” under his charge, owns various instrument andequipment such as high-performance digital storage oscilloscope, spectrumanalyzer, three-phase power analyzer, logic analyzer, high precision DMM (Benchtype digital multimeter, digital LCR tester, temperature and humidityadjustable test chamber, high dielectric strength tester, arbitrary functiongenerator, various electronic load, infrared temperature tester, precisionadjustable current source and voltage source, various active and inactivecurrent probe and AC source, DC source and workstation. What’s more, it alsopossesses power electronic circuit simulated analysis system, EMI test analysissystem, DSP/ARM/FPGA simulation development system, PSIM, SABER, MATLAB andCANDENCE and other electronic circuit aided design and simulation analysistools. Especially it has built intrinsically-safe circuit laboratory that onlya few universities own domestically and established discharge spark energy testand analysis system with high precision andhigh intelligence.
The “Scientific and Technological Innovation Team” under hischarge has established favorable cooperation relationship with several domesticand foreign enterprises and universities, which has laid solid foundation forthe students’ employment and subject research. The “Scientific andTechnological Innovation Team” also has set up Complex Laboratory of Power ElectronicCircuit, IC Design Center, Intrinsically-safe circuit laboratory, Doctor andPostgraduate Students’ Studio, Professors’ Studio, Faculty Studio as well ascomponent library and database, which has provided warm and comfortablelearning and working environment and domestically leading innovation researchplatform, which can accommodate graduates from Power Electronics and PowerDrives, Electronic Circuit and System, Microelectronics and Solid-StateElectronics, Theory and New Technology of Electrical Engineering, ElectricEngineering, Control Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering andother relevant disciplines and specialties to engage in scientific research andproduct development.

Hou Yuanbin, female, professor, PhD Supervisor, graduated fromAutomation of Xi’an Jiaotong University with a master’s degree in 1987 andSystems Engineering (I) with a doctor’s degree in 1997. She was the academicleader of the key discipline “Control Theory and Control Engineering” inShaanxi Province (from 2000 to 2012) and the academic director of School ofElectrical and Control Engineering. She is also the member of Education Committee of Chinese Association of Automation, member of ElectricalSpecialized Committee of Chinese Association of Automation, standing directorof Shaanxi Association of Automation as well as director of EducationCommittee. She has been engaged in the teaching and research of systemsengineering and automation, who once taught more than 10 specializedcourses for undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral students. Forundergraduates, her courses mainly include elementary theory of modern control,principle of automatic control, sunplus single-chip microcomputer, fuzzycontrol, intelligent control and other optional courses; for postgraduates anddoctoral students, her courses mainly include intelligent detection andinformation fusion (doctors), system identification, neural network,intelligent detection and data fusion, which have been high appraised by thestudents. She has taken in-depth study in system engineering, identificationmodeling of complex system, fault diagnosis, supervision and monitoring ofsafety production as well as intelligent detection and informationfusion. What’s more, she has applied several research achievements intoproduction monitoring, which has guaranteed the safety production and been wellreceived by the peer experts at home and abroad. LiuJian, PhD Supervisor
Liu Jian, male, doctor, was born in July 1967. He currentlyserves as professor, Vice Chairman of Academic Board and PhD Supervisor ofXi’an University of Science and Technology. What’s more, he is also thepart-time professor and PhD Supervisor of Northeastern University and Xi’anUniversity of Technology, part-time professor of Northwest University and Xi’anShiyou University. He is a national candidate of Millions of Talents Program,special government allowance expert by State Council, member of TechnicalCommittee of China Coal Industry, excellent engineering technical expert ofSGCC (State Grid Corporation of China), talent of Shaanxi “Three-five-yeartalents program”, special editor and reviewer of China WaterPower Press,memberof Xi’an Scientific and Technological Achievements Award Committee, member ofDistribution Network Group of National Technical Committee for the Standardizationof Information Exchange on Electricity Systems, Senior Member of IEEE,editorial board member of several periodicals. Professor Liu Jian is the famous expert in distribution networkand automation in China, who once was in charge of several national programssuch as national demonstration project of high-tech production, national torchplan, innovation fund by Ministry of Science and Technology, NSFC,post-doctoral Scientific fund project, NEDD author fund, New Century TalentSupporting Project by Ministry of Education. He once obtained 11 provincialscientific and technological progress awards and his scientific achievementshave been widely popularized and applied.
Professor Liu Jian has published 10 monographs and more than 170academic papers in domestic and foreign important periodicals. Of which, 90have been included by SCI and EI. His theoretical achievements have been widelyand positively quoted by the peers.

MaXianmin, PhD Supervisor
MaXianmin, male, born in 1954 from Yangling, Shaanxi, is a professor, doctor andPhD Supervisor. He once was the visiting scholar in the State Power ElectronicsApplication Center of University of Tennessee and State Key Laboratory ofAutomobile Safety and Energy in Tsinghua University. He also once was theDeputy Director of Department of Computer Science, Deputy Dean of College ofElectronic Control of Xi’an University of Science and Technology andnow he is the Director of Institute of ElectricEngineering in Xi’an University of Science and Technology, senior member ofInternational Association of Computer Information Technology, senior member ofChina Coal Society and member of Electromobile Branch of CSAE (China Society ofAutomative Engineers). He once served as the member of IEEE InternationalConference Procedure Committee and Session Chair for many times, who gavekeynote speeches on relevant conferences. In addition, he is also the reviewerof several international and domestic periodicals and international conferencesas well as the review expert of Chinese core journals of Peking UniversityLibrary.
Professor Ma Xianmin is mainly engaged in the research of electrical drive newtechnique, intelligent detection and control. His main research direction isnew technique, image processing technique, fault detection and identificationof electric drive system. He once took charge of more than 10 longitudinalscientific research programs such as Ministry of Education, State KeyLaboratory Open Fund of Automobile Safety and Energy of Tsinghua University,Shaanxi Provincial Science& Technology Department and EducationDepartment, which have won respectively 1 second prize of Shaanxi Scienceand Technology Award and Science and Technology Progress Award of Xi’anUniversity of Science and Technology.
