YaoWanqiang, born in 1967,  professor,  doctor, is the dean of Collegeof Geomatics of Xi'an University of Science and Technology, and the director incharge of college in Geospatial Information Technology Engineering CenterShannxi Province. He is the member of International Society of Mine Surveying(ISM), the director of  Surveying and Mapping Geographic InformationSociety of China, the director of China Association for Geographic InformationSociety and the executive director of Surveying and Mapping GeographicInformation Society of Shannxi Province. He is the member of the EditorialBoard of Journal of Xi'an University of Science and Technology (NaturalEdition), Mine Survey and other periodicals. He is mainly engaged inscientific research and scientific and technological services in aspects of 3Sintegration and applications, mining subsidence and disaster management,geoscience information modeling and digital mine, remote sensing monitoring ofgeographic conditions  and etc.

Hehas been in charge of the completion of  "  Nonlinear LawResearch on Mining Subsidence of Thick Loose layer ", which is  aNatural Science Fund Project of Shannxi Province and has  played animportant role in mining subsidence analysis and mining design for mines inwestern China and has won the first prize for scientific and technologicalprogress of  bureau level. He has been in charge of the completion of"Mobile GIS system Research on Surveying Forest Resources " ,which is the key project of scientific research of Ministry of Education, improving the efficiency of the survey of resources. As a key person, he hasparticipated in the completion of many projects of  national levelincluding the "Research on Deformation Mechanism and Optimal CorrectionModel of High Spatial Resolution Remote Sensing Image in Forest Area",  and the "Research on Global Ionospheric Fine Modeling Based onMulti-source Data Fusion and Non-negative Inequality Constraints" etc. As a key person, he has participated in the completion of the "Research,Development and Application of Low Altitude Photography System for MicroUnmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)", which has won the third prize forscientific and technological progress awarded by the State Bureau of Surveyingand Mapping.  

Ineducation and teaching, he has offered many core courses including Surveyingand Mapping Geographic information Introduction, Digital Mapping Principles andMethods, and Mining Survey for undergraduates and postgraduates. He has been the editor-in-chief for or has participated in editing 4 planned textbooksand monographs and has undertaken many  teaching quality engineeringprojects of surveying and mapping engineering specialty with national characteristics

andGeographic Information Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of ShannxiProvince etc.. He has won one second prize for the outstanding teachingachievement of Shaanxi Province .  Up to now he has published more than 40academic papers in core journals, and has  been in charge of  andparticipated in more than 50 projects of National -level, provincial andministerial level and cooperative scientific research. TangFuquan, professor and doctor of engineering, is the vice dean of  theCollege of Geomatics of Xi'an University of Science and Technology, and is theacademic leader of doctor station of Geoscience and Information Engineering. Heis the member of the 11th Mining Surveying Committee of China Surveying and MappingGeographic Information Society. He was born in  1966and after he gotpostgraduate diploma from the former Xi 'an Institute of Mining, he stayedthere to teach in July 1990, Meanwhile, during August 1997 to August 2004, hewas engaged in surveying and mapping technology in Singapore . Since September2004, he  has been engaged in teaching and scientific research insurveying and mapping in  Xi'an University of Science and Technology. Hehas  mainly lectured on the courses of  "Mine Survey","Mining Subsidence", "Construction Survey" and"Engineering Surveying "successively  for undergraduates, andmainly lectured on the courses of Special Precision Engineering Surveying"and "Theory and Method of Deformation Measurement" etc. forpostgraduates.

HuRongming, male, is professor and a doctor. He is the vice dean of the Collegeof Geomatics of Xi'an University of Science and Technology, the academic leaderof Cartography and Geography Information Systems, the member of Education andDevelopment of GNSS and LBS Association of China (GLAC) he is mainly engaged inteaching and research of application of engineering survey and its automation,and 3S in engineering field. He has done a lot of work in application ofphotogrammetry withremote sensing and geographic information technology in agriculture, land,urban construction and mine. Hegives lectures on engineering surveying, GPS and related courses. He presides overthe  " Research on Mining Surface Movement Rule of Weibei CoalfieldMine" , which is the fund project of the Ministry of Coal; he hasparticipated in the research of soil erosion process and regulating of majorwater erosion areas of China ( 2007CB407200) in the National Basic ResearchProgram of China( 973 Program); “Information Extraction from High ResolutionRemote Sensing Images” of Science and Technology Key Project of the COSTIND(E0305/1112/JC01);and "Research on Application of Remote SensingTechnology in  Ancient Trestle Road in Bashu" of Sino-AustralianCooperation Project .

ShiJingjian, male, professor, is a renowned Teacher of Xi'an University of Scienceand Technology, the academic leader of Geodesy and Survey Engineering ofCollege of Geomatics  of Xi'an University of Science and Technology, theconvener of first level discipline, the leader of teaching team of survey engineeringof Shannxi Province, the leader of teaching team of basic surveying and mappingcourse of Xi'an University of Science and Technology and the part-timeresearcher of institute of higher education of Xi'an University of Science andTechnology . LiChonggui, male, a doctor, a professor, is a full-time teacher of Department ofGeographic Information Science, College of Geomatics of Xi'an University ofScience and Technology, he has been engaged in teaching, research anddevelopment of remote sensing quantitative estimation and 3S integratedtechnology for a long time. he mainly teaches courses of GIS SoftwareEngineering and Component GIS software development etc. He has studied in areasof forestry remote sensing quantitative estimation and tablet embeddeddevelopment  for more than 10 years and accumulated experiences.Scientific Research Projects: 1. ChenXiaoning, male, professor, is a member of Party Committee of College ofGeomatics and  a member of Prossor Committee He successively offered 6courses in two levels for undergraduates and postgraduates. The RemoteSensing Technique taught by him has been evaluated as University-levelExcellent Course. He wrote and published Modern Surveying and MappingInstrument which is selected as the textbook for both undergraduates andpostgraduates. YangYongcong, male (born in October, 1966), from Gaolan County of Gansu Province,is a doctor and a professor. He has been an academic leader of Gartography andGeographic Information Engineering since 2009. He had been studying in formerlyWuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping for major of GeodeticSurvey from August of 1984 to July of 1988. He had been working for the landsurvey in formerly Gansu Provincial Land Survey and Design Institute from Julyof 1988 to August of 1992. He had been studying for the master degree ofEngineering Survey in formerly Xi'an Mining Institute from August of 1992 toJuly of 1995; and since May of 1995, he has stayed in this institute forteaching. From March of 2004 to July 2007, he had been studying for the doctordegree in major of Cartography and Geographic information Engineering in ChinaUniversity of Mining and Technology(Beijing) . He was titled as lecturer in1997, associated professor in 2002 and professor in 2007/ At present, he ismainly engaged in the research of geographic information visualization,geographic information engineering and smart city big data application. ZhangChunsen, male, professor, doctor, academic leader of Photogrammetry and RemoteSensing. He obtained bachelor, master and doctor degrees for Photgrammetry andRemote Sensing all from Wuhan University. He was the visiting scholar of ChibaUniversity -Center for Environmental Remote Sensing(CEReS) Tateish Lab, peerreview expert of National Natural Science Foundation projects and review expertof China Postdoctoral Science Fund (General program). He is the reviewer ofmultiple core periodicals like Geomatics and Information Science of WuhanUniversity, Journal of Northwest University, Application of RemoteSensing and Optics and Precision Engineering. He has been successively incharge of  and participated in National Natural Science Foundationprojects, Shannaxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects and ShannxiProvincial Education Commission Special Fund. The fields researched by himcover photogrammetric computer vision and application of remote sensing. studyingin the center of Soil and Water Conservation and Ecological environmentresearch of Chinese Academy of Sciences for doctor degree from September of2004 From July 2007 to now, he is engaged in teaching and scientific researchin Xi'an University of Science and Technology. GuoLiyu, male, is associate professor, a doctor,  and a academic leader ofHuman Geography, Institute of Mapping Science and Technology of Xi’anUniversity of Science and Technology. of Xi’an University of Science andTechnology. ChenQiuji, male, assistant professor, post doctor, the academic leader of physicalgeography discipline, is the member of Land reclamation and ecologicalgeography of China Coal Society He is mainly working on the teaching and scientific research for land reclamation and ecological reconstruction inmining areas, 3S technology integration and its application, landclassification and valuation, planning of land use and land reclamation. LiuLiangyun,  male, doctor, researcher of Institute of Remote Sensing andDigital Earth (RADI), Chinese Academy of Sciences, PhD Supervisor, director of Optical Earth Observation Laboratory, member of Academic Committee of RADI,adjunct professor of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Xi’anUniversity of Science and Technology, member of Federation of Youth of ChineseAcademy of Sciences (UCAS) and member of work group for GEO Global ForestObservations Initiative (GFOI). GuoChunxi, senior engineer with excellent performance (entitled with professoratesenior engineer 's salary), is a doctor, adjunct postgraduate supervisor ofXi’an University of Science and Technology. Now he is the president of theFourth Institute of Surveying and Mapping Engineering, Shaanxi ProvincialBureau of Geographic Information Surveying and Mapping. In 1984, he graduatedfrom Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping (WTUSM) where he studied for master degree from June of 1990 to March of 1993. He has beenworking for the geodetic data processing and successively undertaken andcompleted multiple large projects for surveying and mapping production andscientific research with the experience of professional theory and capabilityto solve practical problems. The main projects accomplished by him includeNational Level field adjustment software design for calibration of gravimeterscale value and Station of Calibration of Gravimeter Scale Value, adjustmentcalculating,  compiling of National Primary Gravity Network DataProcessing and Adjustment Proposal, programming and calculation of adjustmentsoftware, determination of decimeter level geoidal surface in Hainan and so on.He has been successively in charge of  and participated in more than 50major research and engineering projects and won three Second Prizes of NationalScience and Technology Progress Award, five First Prizes, three Second Prizesand four Third Prizes of Science and Technology Progress Award for Surveyingand Mapping of National Surveying and Mapping Geographic InformationBureau.

WangXiaoping, male, Han nationality, professorate senior engineer, graduated fromDepartment of Survey Engineering of East China College of Geology (present EastChina University of Technology) and now he is the Chairman of Xi’an DadiSurveying And Mapping Co., Ltd. and adjunct professor and postgraduatesupervisor in East China University of Technology and Xi’an University ofScience and Technology. He is honored as the Top Ten Entrepreneurship ServiceSupervisor. He has been working for the survey and mapping production,management and new technology development for 30 years after graduation and emphasizedon the new technology study of automatic measurement and its applications. Heis one of the pioneers for unmanned mapping technology in China. The unmannedaerial vehicles of "Earth Eagle" series  (UAV) independently anddeveloped by him and applied to the mapping project have filled the domesticgap of aviation photography technology by civilian mini-UAV. He has publishedmore than 10 research papers, and has won 11 patents and four Prizes of“Science and Technology Progress Award for Surveying and Mapping” . QiuChunxia, female, associate professor, postgraduate supervisor, is a nationalregistered surveyor and director of Department of Geographic InformationScience. She is mainly teaching the undergraduate courses including GISPrinciple and General Cartography and postgraduate courses  includingPrinciples and Methods of Geographic Information System. She is mainlyresearching geospatial data repository, 3D GIS establishment, and applicationof GIS in land and resources and remote sensing image processing technologiesand is good at multi-source geospatial data production. In recent years, shehas been in charge of and participated in more than 10 transverse andlongitudinal research projects and education reform projects and published morethan 30 scientific papers in professional domestic periodicals, four items ofsoftware copyrights and utility patents. He has participated in compiling oftwo textbooks; he was the chief complier for three internship guidance, oneexcellent course for postgraduates. She won one Second Prize of ProvincialScience and Technology Progress Award, one First and one Second Prize ofUniversity Level Teaching Achievements, Third Prize in National LectureCompetition for Young Teachers.
