On September 20th, the university held an online meeting to promote the key work of education campaign to increase public awareness of law and discipline education. Fan Jianwu, deputy secretary of the University Party Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Secretaries of the Office of University Party Committee, the President's Office, the Discipline Inspection Office, the Office of Organization, the Office of Publicity, the United Front Work Office, the Personnel Office, the Party committees of each department, the general Party branch, and the directly affiliated Party Branch attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the Discipline Inspection Office, the Office of Organization, the Office of Publicity, the United Front Work Office, and the Personnel Office reported the key tasks such as law education and study, discipline education and study, publicity and education, grassroots Party construction, publicity and ideological work, united front work, and the construction of teacher's ethics.
Fan Jianwu demanded that we should attach great importance to the month of discipline education, study and publicity. All Party committees, general Party branches and directly affiliated Party branches focus on key tasks of organizing one collective study, conducting one knowledge test of Party discipline, carrying out one warning education activity, and holding one special organization meeting. It aims to strengthen the organizational leadership and task advancement, and achieve the goals of clear understanding, clear requirements, clear objects, clear responsibilities and clear timetable. He stressed that it is necessary to combine the discipline education General Secretary Xi Jinpin's important exposition and instructions on education, and with the full implementation of the strategic objectives of the 11th Party Congress and the annual tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan. It shall also closely integrate with the efficient planning of epidemic prevention and control and the reform and development of university education. We will vigorously carry forward the principle of virtue, capacity, performance and honesty, and fully implement the requirements of above seven principles to provide strong discipline guarantee for the high-quality development of the university to greet the the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with practical actions.
