On December 9, the "4th Scientific Forum on Green Exploration" jointly sponsored by the Key Laboratory of Coal Resources Exploration and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Natural Resources, and the Key Experiment of Geological Security for Green Coal Development in Shaanxi Province of our university was held in Xi'an. The meeting was conducted simultaneously online and offline.At the meeting, a number of academicians and well-known scholars conducted extensive exchanges on in-situ mining technologies and cutting-edge scientific and technological issues of energy mineral resources such as oil-rich coal, oil shale and shale gas.Nearly 80 teachers and students from the College of Geology and Environment, and the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of our university attended the forum.
Deng Jun, vice president of our university, delivered a speech.Academician Guo Liejin of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academicians Wang Shuangming and Lin Jun of the Chinese Academy of Engineering respectively made thematic reports on Exploitation of Heavy Oil by Supercritical Water Technology, Contributing Geological Wisdom to the High Quality Development of Shaanxi Coal and Research Progress and Application of Ground-to-Air Cooperative Electromagnetic Detection System.Experts and scholars from Jilin University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China University of Mining and Technology, Taiyuan University of Technology, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), Xi'an University of Science and Technology, scientific research institutes and enterprises such as CCTEG XI'AN Research Institute, and Key Laboratory of Coal Resources Exploration and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Natural Resources have conducted fruitful exchanges on high-efficiency development of oil-rich coal, in-situ mining technology of coal and shale oil, and stimulation technology of coalbed methane.
In addition, a total of 230 representatives from relevant enterprises, public institutions, scientific research institutions and universities attended the meeting.
