On October 12-15, the National Finals of the 5th China College Students' "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Zhejiang University.Our school has the best record of 1 silver and 6 bronze awards, and the number of awards ranked first among the colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province.
The project "Maintaining Damages with Wastes and Turning Waste into Treasure; Development of Road Recycling Agent using Waste Cooking Oil and Its Application" for international section won the national silver medal, and our university is the only provincial university in Shaanxi Province that has qualified for the national finals of international section and won the silver medal. "Beyond Horizon: Tracking Aiming System", "ROOLIAN" and other two projects won national bronze medals.For the university teachers section, three projects, such as "Gold from Coal-Leader in Clean Conversion of Low-Rank Coal", "Xianyou Qinshan-China Famous Mountain Theme Tourism Cultural Animation IP Image" and "Chemical Guard-Intelligent Patrol Solution Provider of Chemical Factory", won the national bronze medal. Youth Red Dream Building Tour "Minyin Caifu" won the national bronze medal.
During the competition, Liu Jianlin, deputy director of the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government, Hu Haining, director of the Higher Education Department, attended the competition to give guidance, while Jiang Lin, president of the university, and Wang Guirong, vice president, attended the competition to give guidance and send greetings to the contestants.Officials from the Office of Academic Affairs, Postgraduate School, Laboratory and Equipment Management Office, Office of High-level Talents, International Exchange and Cooperation Department, College of Civil and Architectural Engineering, and College of Mechanical Engineering and other relevant departments attended the competition.
The China College Students' "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, initiated by Premier Li Keqiang and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the National Development and Reform Commission and other ministries, has become the most influential event covering all universities and colleges in China and targeting all college students.Under the theme of the Fifth Competition entitled "Living Life to the Fullest and Build a New Era of Remarkable Achievements", five sections of the competition are set, namely, the University Teachers Section, the Vocational College Students Section, the International Section, the Red Dream Building Tour Section and the Germination Section.
