On July 15, the Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Consortium of Lintong Universities was held in the International Report Hall of Coal Science and Technology Center in Lishan Campus of Lintong. Our university established the Consortium of Lintong Universities together with Xi'an Polytechnic University and Xi'an Vocational University of Automobile.

The Consortium of Lintong Universities should take this opportunity to give full play to the advantages of geographical proximity, distinctive university-running characteristics and broad cooperation space to further deepen cooperation and jointly build first-class universities. In his speech, Jiang Lin said that Xi'an University of Science and Technology, Xi'an Polytechnic University and Xi'an Vocational University of Automobile have been engaging in increasingly close communications with each other and the achievements keep emerging. These three universities have converged into an important force in the territory of higher education in our province.The establishment of The Consortium of Lintong Universities is not only a strategic choice to implement the construction plan of "double-first-class" and "four-first-class" in an all-round way in China, but also a practical measure to benefit the development of the three universities' educational causes. Under the framework of Cooperation Agreement on The Consortium of Lintong Universities, the three universities will take elective courses, minor majors and teaching supervision at cross-university level. Excellent teachers and teaching resources can also be shared among universities. Extensive cooperation in the areas of teachers' mutual employment, students' study and exchange, university students' innovation and entrepreneurship and educational resources sharing will be carried out, so as to make substantial progress in the work of the consortium, rally together the powerful forces of "mutual benefit and win-win, striving for first-class, and innovative development", and make new and greater contributions to helping Shaanxi catch up with and surpass others and build a strong province of higher education.

At the Signing Ceremony, President Jiang Lin of Xi'an University of Science and Technology, President Gao Ling of Xi'an Polytechnic University and President Li Ruiming of Xi'an Vocational University of Automobile signed the Cooperation Agreement on The Consortium of Lintong Universities. Wang Guirong, Vice President of Xi'an University of Science and Technology, Dai Hong, Vice President of Xi'an Polytechnic University, and Zhang Ling, Vice President of Xi'an Vocational University of Automobile signed the Agreement on Undergraduate Exchange and Cultivation of The Lintong University Consortium and the Agreement on Cross-university Supervision of The Lintong University Consortium. The meeting also announced the first Steering Committee and Teaching Supervision Committee list of The Consortium of Lintong Universities, and issued Letters of Appointment for the first teaching supervision experts.
