On the morning of April 8, the inauguration ceremony of the first batch of doctoral group of 2019 for enterprise temporary training was held in Yanta Campus. Jiang Lin, President of the university, Li Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, and Lai Xingping, Vice President of the university, were present at the inauguration ceremony, which was attended by responsible persons of the Personnel Department, Department of Teachers' Work, Publicity Department, Teachers' Union, the Development Center for Teachers and Teaching, College of Safety Science and Engineering, College of Energy Engineering, College of Civil and Architectural Engineering, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, College of Material Science and Engineering, College of Geology and Environment, etc., as well as 10 temporary teachers of the university.
Jiang Lin cordially met with the members of the doctoral group for temporary training, and inquired in detail about the disciplines, specialties, and temporary positions of each teacher. He pointed out that enterprise temporary training was an important means to enhance the ability of teachers and an important way to improve the quality of the teaching staff in the new era. He asked all the temporary teachers to cherish the opportunity of the temporary training, strengthen their study, combine theory with practice, improve the ability of teaching and educating people, and improve the quality of the university's talent training. He also asked the teachers to play a good role as a bridge, strengthen the cooperation between the university and enterprises, enhance the exchanges and cooperation with temporary units, and learn the advanced technology and ideas from the enterprises; furthermore, teachers were asked to carry forward the Populus Euphratica Spirit of the university, establish a good image of the university and promote the development of the university.
At the inauguration ceremony, the person in charge of the Personnel Department introduced the working arrangement of this batch of temporary training. Ren Jianxi, Dean of the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and Li Ang, Head of the doctoral group, made statements on behalf of the dispatching units and the temporary training teachers, respectively.
Li Ming presented the flag to the Doctor's Group. Lai Xingping made a mobilization speech, hoping that the temporary training teachers will increase their talent in practice and production, and improve their working and entrepreneurial competence; that they should raise awareness and highlight the image of the university in work; that they should make full use of their strengths while avoiding weaknesses, adapt themselves to the environment, and strive for results in technical cooperation; and that they should strengthen the awareness of rules with safety in the first place.
