On the evening of September 14th, XUST 2017 grade international students meeting was held in the first classroom of the flat of international students. People who attended the meeting are the staffs from Yanta Municipal Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration and XUST , and 27 international students from Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Bengal, Uganda, Turkey, and Tadzhikistan.
Police officer Yang Guang, from Yanta Municipal Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration, taught international students some relative laws and regulations; teacher Zhang JunFeng, from Humanities and Foreign Languages College, gave a brief introduction of Chinese curriculum in this semester and the plan of cultivating students; Zhao Lu, Lu Chen and Yu DaWei, from the International Exchange & Cooperation Office, gave a brief introduction and replaying of scholarship, visa, insurance and the punishment of breaking the law to the international students respectively who they are responsible for. The host of the meeting is Shang Chang Chun, the head of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office of XUST. The letters of commitment of security and responsibility were signed, and the first batch of “One Card Solution” was given to the international students during the meeting.
The meeting ended up with the director Shang ChangChun’s summary, in which he hoped that the international students could take the meeting as a new start to study hard and make progresses in the future
The international students meeting strengthens their awareness of abiding by the laws and regulations, more understandings to XUST and the sense of team spirits. We believe that the management and teaching to the international students will go on wheels under the efforts of faculties and students.
